The Building is Bauhaus inspired by the modernist design architectural movement. Though the design of the hotel is contemporary it is complimented with vernacular skills, Spaces are disciplined while being open, seamless yet with welcoming simplicity and offers a visually challenging concept of stillness. The gardens are Zen inspired with water bodies , Pergola and sand stone Buddha, though the richness lies in the detailing. Drawing its aesthetic reference from local material as well as architecture so unique to northern India. Building axis extended into the garden to give formal yet relaxing feel.
The exterior stone cladding is in rough Gwalior Mint juxtaposed with smooth Modak stone ,intricate design by the local stone craftsmen, evergreen & tropical plants to compliment the natural stone finish of landscape, wooden jali which have been inspired from balance of light & shadow, lofty ceilings, interesting hand paintings by local craftsmen, mint glass and stone contrast with the warmth of rich fabrics and wood to create a harmonious sense of restrained luxury.
A peaceful balanced environment is achieved to create a quiet, meditative ambience to come to after urban metro chaos.
