Homegrown luxury hospitality brand jüSTa Hotels & Resorts, which currently operates 20 hotels across India, is set to make its foray in Maharashtra. The company will open its first property in the State in Kolad in September 2023. Spread across a 6-acre area, the jüSTa Rudra Resort & Spa in Kolad is located at a three hours’ driving distance (115 km) from both Mumbai and Pune and is set amidst undulating greens and small hillocks of the Western Ghats.
“If you want to be a national player, you can’t ignore Maharashtra. It is an extremely important State for any brand when you look at the sheer economic size and purchasing power of the market. We chose this resort in Kolad as our first property in the State because it is a very good property with a good owner, the location is right in between Pune and Mumbai and it is a commercially viable venture. Moreover, we are already at an advanced stage of discussion for opening another resort in Maharashtra,” said Mr Ashish Vohra, Founder & CEO, jüSTa Hotels & Resorts while talking about their brand entry into Maharashtra.
